Gardening Can Be Enjoyable And Relaxing
As far back as I can remember I’ve loved gardening. When I was a small child I would spend countless hours in the dirt with my grandmother planting everything from cucumbers to corn. All summer I would spend the days of summer at my grandparent’s farm. My grandfather game me a proposal, work in the garden or study American histroy. It was simple in my mind because I loved being outside in the garden and didn’t like school at all.
That’s how I came to be where I am, taking whatever time I can to be with my plants, but now it’s at my own house instead of the farm. This year I though I would plant a mix of vegetables. I began with tomatoes, then moved onto beans and brocoli. It was simple to do. The plants needed water almost every day because the sun was shining and it was always hot and dry. I needed to get my man to chop down an intruding tree that was depriving my garden of the sun. Really it was a lot of work for a small amount of veggies.
Weeding is my least favorite part of gardening. This summer is was a lot better because I went out and decided to buy garden shovels. Having to move around on my knees all summer was not fun at all. In the coming years I think I might get someone to come to my house and weed my garden once a week. Now all I have left to do is convince the hubby, he’s cheap.
The right tools for the job make all the difference, and that’s why I don’t know why more people don’t gardening tools for sale. If I had it my way the house would be filled with evey little tool that anyone has ever thought up. I love gardening and having the right tools makes it so much more enjoyable. If next summer you are thinking to take a roll in the dirtt, go at it with the right tools!
